Darcy Sawatzki, MA has been part of the Pandemic Action Network team since its inception and leads the Network’s Behavior Change Communications Workgroup. A senior vice president at Evoke KYNE, Darcy brings over two decades of experience in public health communications, behavior change, and social marketing. Infectious disease communications projects have included World Mask Week for Pandemic Action Network and the domestic preparedness Zika initiative for CDC in 2016. Additional current and past clients include Hopelab, Healthy US Collaborative, Parkinson’s Foundation, CDC Foundation, and the HHS Office on Women’s Health. Darcy was named a 2020 Top Women in PR by PRNews, has taught Principles of Strategic Communications at American University, and is an editorial board member for Social Marketing Quarterly.
