That is why Pandemic Action Network was created — to create the political will for action. Launched in April 2020 by leaders in global health advocacy, crisis response, and communications, Pandemic Action Network is a robust partnership of over 150 diverse organizations aligned in a belief that every effort made in the fight against COVID-19 should leave a long-term legacy — one where humanity is better prepared to deal with outbreaks and prevent a deadly and costly pandemic from happening again. All activities undertaken are in the pursuit of those goals, and are not driven by a single organization or product.
