Hiroshima G7 Global Health Task Force: Recommendations for Promoting Global Solidarity Towards a More Resilient Health System

Join a special webinar co-hosted by Pandemic Action Network, Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE), and the University of Tokyo’s Institute for Future Initiatives to discuss JCIE’s Hiroshima G7 Global Health Task Force recommendations for Japan’s G7 agenda, including concrete actions to advance global health in the context of lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and proposals to strengthen global governance, financing, and systems to ensure the world is better equipped to prevent, prepare, and rapidly respond to future pandemics.

The session will focus on these recommendations, which fall under the Task Force’s three key themes: 100 Days Mission and Access & Delivery; Resilient, Equitable, and Sustainable Universal Health Care; and Global Health Architecture Development and Financing.

Participants will have an opportunity to reflect, provide feedback, ask questions about the recommendations, and strategize on the political opportunities for uptake at the May G7 Leaders’ Summit and beyond.
