Pandemic Action Network joins The Elders, the Future of Life Institute, and others in an open letter calling on world leaders to show long-view leadership and act decisively for a better future. 

2024 marks a pivotal election year globally and all leaders seeking office must take a bold new approach. Long-view leadership means showing the determination to resolve intractable problems, not just manage them, the wisdom to make decisions based on scientific evidence and reason, and the humility to listen to all those affected. These principles must inform urgent changes in policy so that governments can get to work and agree how to finance the transition to a safe and healthy future.  

We call on global leaders to show courage and lead us to a more equitable and safe future.
